Country Club Plaza Tower
It was designed in 1922 as the nation's first suburban shopping district. Since then, its open-air public art gallery has continuously added to its collection, with fountains, sculptures and murals that bring the very best of the Old World and the New.
Art and architectural features are constantly being meticulously maintained and restored as the century-old district continues its reign as Kansas City's premier shopping and dining destination. Spend the day on the Country Club Plaza enjoying the free outdoor art display along with the many shops and restaurant offerings.
This particular tower caught my eye. I loved the framing of it between the two trees. There is SO much to love about this shopping center I just had to try and isolate a single section of it for a painting. It brings back great memories of the city I love, of the dates I have taken my bride on, and of the marches through the streets I have participated in for social justice 🫶🏾
Print is an 8×8 (original size) with a 12×12 mat, framed in the color of your choice.
